Intermediate Institutes and Vocational Schools:

The Intermediate Institute of Agriculture (IIA):

The IIA was founded at Tishreen University per a 1974 Decree. The duration of study in this institute is two years. The Institute offers specialization starting from the second year of study in the following areas:

              ·   Animal Breeding.

              ·   Plant production

 

The Intermediate Institute of Engineering (IIA):

The IIE was founded at Tishreen University per a 1979 Decree. The duration of study in this institute is two years. The Institute offers specialization in the following areas:

                ·  Drawing and Geometric Objectification

                ·  Building Construction.

                ·  Irrigation and Sewage.

                ·  Land Survey.

                ·  Transportation and Telecommunications.

                ·  Environmental Engineering.

 

The Intermediate Institute of Medicine (IIM):

The IIM was established at Tishreen University per a 1979 Ministry of Higher Education Code. The duration of study at the IIM is two years. The Institute offers specialization in the following areas:

                ·  Nursing.

                ·  Laboratories.

                ·  Radiology.

                ·  Anesthesia.

                ·  Physical Therapy.

 

The Intermediate Institute of Commerce (IIC):

The IIC was established at Tishreen University per a 1980 Ministry of Higher Education Code. The duration of study at the IIC is two years, and students can specialize either in Accounting or Administration in their second year of study.

 

The Intermediate Institute of Administration Skills (IIAS):

The IISS was founded at Tishreen University per a 1995 Ministry of Higher Education Code. The duration of study at the IISS is two years.

 The Intermediate Institute of Computer (IIC):

The IIC was founded at Tishreen University per a 1998 Ministry of Higher Education Code. The duration of study at the IIC is two years.

 

The School of Nursing:

The school of Nursing was opened per Code No. 2 of 1984. The school has a capacity to house 173 interns (females) to be trained as regular nurses as well as nurses in general and specialized nursing to meet the needs of
Al-Assad University Hospital of Tishreen University.

 

 Social Services:

The units of professional services in Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacology, Agriculture, Economics, Chemistry, and Physics conduct studies and offer their expertise and consultations to the various establishments of the public sectors, government agencies, or the State’s ministries.
