Libraries:
Since the foundation of the University, a Central Library was established to supervise the operation of the specialized branch libraries, organize library services, supply the branch libraries with references and periodicals, equip these libraries technically in order to maximize their services for faculty, researchers, and students, and update these libraries constantly in a way that guarantees a better performance and keep abreast of new developments in library science. The holdings of the Central Library, the faculty libraries, and the University centers total 60,214 , and the numbers of periodicals are 468 distributed as shown in the table below:
